EGG DROP CHALLENGE!!

For our Whetu challenge, we did an egg drop challenge!
I worked with Scarlett & Xanthe. When we dropped the egg I totally thought it was going crack but instead, it didn't I was so excited and surprised. The hardest part was trying to figure out a sculpture for our egg to survive, we ran out of time but we quickly found a way to make our egg to survive.

Maths Mahi (Investigation)

For the maths Mahi investigation, we had to grab some paper and make circles after we had to fold it and cut out some little bits and open it up we had to do this about five times but some you had to fold it into quarters. After you did the circles we had to write what you notice with the patterns.

Matariki Jigsaw Puzzle

For Matariki, we made a jigsaw puzzle with Matariki activities on the puzzle pieces. The activities we had to do was our family tree and you had to design your own kite. it was really fun and especially glueing the puzzle pieces together to make a puzzle.

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is the opt-in workshops because we could choose what to do for our learning.

Something that has challenged me this term has been Number of the Day but it's getting easier.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Catapult Challenge because it was fun catapulting the pompom and making the catapult with my friends.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was Dance which was taken with Mrs Fraser. We did line dancing and it was so much fun.

An aim I have for my learning is to keep focused on my learning and not get distracted by others.
